Not mine, just an Auction house I've dealt with many times over the past decade or so. There isn't anything stellar this time (they occasionally have some amazing pieces) but I thought the Kabuto's might be interesting to someone. They seem a bit high priced for what they are but my experience level is really low still so I'm unsure of the actual value.
Oddly they do have several former pieces of mine that I offloaded via another auction house earlier this year, but they are all Indo-Persian pieces in the mid to lower grades. From those and several other pieces I know from other sites I think they are using the May auction as more of an aggregate of listings from multiple houses rather then pieces solely listed by them.
That is the kind of information I like to find out. Would you mind pointing out a few specific parts that give you that information and/or is is a piece you've seen before (or identical reproductions)? I like to have data points to file away for future use. I find that looking at the wrong stuff often teaches me as much as looking at good pieces.
They normally deal mainly in Indo Persian pieces and have pulled out some incredible collections (with good provenance) in the past but this auction is mostly filled with low grade junk. Not the best harbinger for the future but I'm hoping it's an anomaly. It's also why I only purchase auction pieces in fields I'm competent in.
