I recently bought a maedate from them. However, several years ago, I saw a beautiful jizai okimono of a pheasant being offered by them and after some back-and-forth, I told them I would be taking it. A day later I received a message from them saying that one of the owners "accidentally" sold it to another customer. This was during the time when the sheikh was buying up all the jizai okimono around the world and I suspect one of the his representatives made them an offer they couldn't refuse. The whole incident left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.
Many of the items they offer are post Edo, but they're upfront about that.
