I'll let the guys comment about the helmet first.
There are lots of options on restoration, from lacing to re lacquering this shikoro.

Hi Javier, it's a 32 ken suji bachi kabuto. Might well be Myochin as the tag suggest. The shape points towards early to mid Edo period, IMHO. As Dave already mentioned, keep an eye on the restoration costs!
