I'm currently looking into a study scholarship to Japan, and would love to study Katchu and learn more about the manufacture of Japanese armour. Does anyone know of any courses in Japan that teach it, or where one would go to learn it?
Failing that, any places in general that anyone knows of?
Hey guys! Thanks for the responses, really helpful stuff
Luc, thanks for the recommendation! Joining the Japanese Armour Society is definitely something I will consider doing further down the line, funds are a bit tight at the moment. With me being outside of Japan and not likely to be able to travel there often, what benefits would I receive by becoming a member?
Thanks for the site link Uwe! Morisaki san is a very talented craftsman, had fun looking through the listed items. How would I go about contacting him?
